The RAMifications of VCU

The R.A.M.ifications (RAM) are the newest addition to the a cappella community at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Established in 2009, the group started out as the Compass Singers, but changed their name to R.A.M.ifications by the Summer of 2010. RAM consists of 17 singers and 2 vocal percussionists.

During their first semester, RAM performed at STRUT, VCU's premier fashion show, and some members sang the National Anthem at an athletic event at the Greater Richmond Convention center.

Since then, RAM has hosted two collegiate a cappella invitationals known as Richmond Rhythm, has competed at SingStrong, and is recording their first album which is planned to be released in 2012.
